Make WordPress XML Sitemap and Submit Google Bing and Yandex?

How to Submit your WordPress XML Sitemap Google Bing and Yandex

First you need to verify your Blog or Website Search Console Google Bing and Yandex. Make sure you are using WordPress Seo by Yoast. Yoast Seo Automatic Generate XML Sitemap. And I will suggest your use now Yoast SEO. The first thing you need to do is install and active the Yoast SEO plugin from the WordPress Repository on your website. 1. Once you have Yoast SEO plugin activated, go to SEO > XML Sitemaps to configure the settings:

2. Enable The XML sitemap functionalityi that’s ok. Yoast SEO will now automatically create an XML sitemap for your website and continuously update it as you add new content and update elements on your website.

Note: Now your sitemaps are generated and publicly accessible. WordPress SEO will show a XML Sitemap button which you can click to view your sitemap_index.xml sitemap.

 

1. Submit Sitemap Google Search Console

When we submit a sitemap to Google, we do so using the Search console tool. Assuming that you have already verified your site in Google search console and that you have logged in to your webmaster tool dashboard here, you have your sitemap link ready to go. If you have used an offline tool to generate your sitemap, upload it to the root of your site like this:  your site name/ sitemap_index.xml

  • you have to submit your website’s XML sitemap to Google Webmaster tools. First, navigate to the tab labeled Sitemaps and select the Add/Test Sitemap tab button. Then add the URL to your website’s sitemap and click on Submit.

  • Once you have successfully added your sitemap, it will appear as pending. It will take Google sometime to crawl your website. After a while you would be able to see some stats about your sitemap. It will show you the number of links it found in your sitemap, how many of them got indexed, a ratio of images and web pages, etc.

2. Submit Sitemap Bing webmaster Tools

When we submit a sitemap to Bing, we do so using the webmaster tool. Assuming that you have already verified your site in Bing webmaster tool and that you have logged in to your webmaster tool dashboard here, you have your sitemap link ready to go. If you have used an offline tool to generate your sitemap, upload it to the root of your site like this:  your site name/ sitemap_index.xml

  • Once you have successfully added your sitemap, it will appear as pending. It will take Bing sometime to crawl your website. After a while you would be able to see some stats about your sitemap. 3. Submit Sitemap Yandex webmaster Tools

When we submit a sitemap to Yandex, we do so using the webmaster tool. Assuming that you have already verified your site in Yandex webmaster tools and that you have logged in to your webmaster tool dashboard here, you have your sitemap link ready to go. If you have used an offline tool to generate your sitemap, upload it to the root of your site like this:  your site name/ sitemap_index.xml

  • Submit XML sitemap Get Indexing select Sitemap files and enter your sitemap and Click Add

  • Once you have successfully added your sitemap, it will appear as pending. It will take Yandex sometime to crawl your website. After a while you would be able to see some stats about your sitemap. It will show you the number of links it found in your sitemap, how many of them got indexed, a ratio of images and web pages, etc.
